So to a lot of whites, black poverty is a result of racial inferiority, white poverty is a failure of character.

In summary, poverty and racism are sort of a cultural yin/yang in America. They need and feed off each other. You cant solve either alone.

I think we SHOULD solve both, and certainly black folks aren't free til poor black folks are free.

But just giving black folks an equitable distribution across class lines would do a LOT for black folks of all classes, imo.
