Or maybe I misread. Gendered socialization, except as a means of correcting for already-occurred gendered socialization, is bad as a whole.
Nevertheless, if our goal is equality, we should recognize where that socialization increases a marginalized group's access to power.

And to be clear, I'm NOT saying that children having an inclination towards a traditional gender role, and parents following suit, is bad.

But yes, the goal is a world where an infant's genitals do not affect said infant's socialization.
