      huh? Did you read any of those links? They're all sufficient to show that women are disproportionately held liable for others' crimes.

      The law does not target them in any way, the application however leads to unequal results in a very small sample size.

      So women, who have not committed violence, are disproportionately held responsible for those who have committed violence...

      although in many cases, those women held responsible may have been victims of violence from the same party as well.

      Did you read the links??? Women are not liable while their partner goes free. They are held liable when they don't report a crime

      Yes, and the argument goes that the expectation to report that crime should not result in criminal liability when your own life is in danger

          and certainly I can't see why the mother's sentence would be LONGER than the actual abuser's, examples of which are provided in the links.
