1) A decision that threatens a primary concern of a core party constituency should not have been announced so casually.

that is, there should have been some EXTENSIVE outreach to Planned Parenthood and feminist orgs before they just rolled this out, imo.

You can't build a coalition by ignoring the people who have been there. Reach out, but talk to the folks who have been there first.
