Well... surely we all remember the #GirlIGuessImWithHer crowd. It wasn't cause Hillary's stated policies were wrong. It was about trust.

It's ALWAYS about trust in politics. I love Sen Harris, but she could stand to build more trust with the socialist left.

But, here is the rub. Why does Bernie get an automatic "trust" pass from so many. He mouths the words, but has accomplished little.

Same reason Sen Harris gets a trust pass from me. It's about who you identify with/who matches your culture.

Yes, that does give white dudes like Bernie an advantage, I know. And especially puts women, like HRC and Sen Harris at a disadvantage.

Still, it's a fact of voters. And frankly, actually resonating with white guys is maybe NOT an advantage in a Dem primary nowadays.

In a Dem primary, it's maybe more useful to resonate with women, especially if you can cross racial lines, than with white dudes.

It should be more useful, but it seems as if Dem leaders are specifically ignoring the true base of the party.
