I understand that if sexism is the root of the disagreement, genuflecting to their stated concerns may not do much.
Is it possible that, as politicians at least, people like Senator Harris can do more to allay whatever legitimate concerns they have?

But at least for the women on the left, wouldn't it do some good to openly address questions of corporate donors, try to build trust?
