I think, like democracy at vast geographic scales, technological progress could make democratic socialism possible where it once wasn't.

One of the most active DSA members I know is a queer asian woman who runs a bunch of groups for queer Christians.
and she is for real a socialist and also for real doing good work supporting queer ppl who often feel like outcasts in their/our communities
