Jews---not because of their Jewishness but because of their whiteness---have a great deal more power in Hollywood than black folks.

Black folks, for very clear historical reasons, have no such confidence. If the script is racist, it's unlikely anyone will stop it.

Or even really raise the concern. Furthermore, the incentives align differently. White Americans have no incentive to misrepresent...
