Queerness has a teleology. Blackness has a teleology. Immigrant communities have teleology. Whiteness does not, has reactivity instead.

Of course we could also have a National Project, but divisions in society are such that there is no agreed-upon National Project.

I personally would prefer "achieve a genuinely multicultural society" as a National Project, but are white dudes into that?
