Well I dunno about Brazil, but in the US we rolled over and were quiet about it and then we had a President (Clinton)...
Who claimed to be on our side, and then signed bills that encouraged poor ppl to starve and sent a ridiculous number of us to jail.

We tried to just focus on us and making us better... and we still got a wealth gap where whites have 13x our wealth.
