The more I read that people are putting an "oh he's just trying to be a faithful husband" spin on @mike_pence's no-dinner-with-women rule...

the more pissed off I am about it. It's not about his marriage. From that lens it's admirable. But take 2 seconds to think of women...

and it is BEYOND obvious that this is harmful to the careers of the women around him. Can you even IMAGINE a woman with the same rule?

it would be an ENORMOUS handicap to her career. Or like... has Pence ever done a "can I buy you lunch" informational interview w a woman?

if not, isn't it REALLY obvious that helps keep women out of positions of power? Holds up the glass ceiling? Hurts equality?

If women trying to advance their careers have different/less access to the VICE PRESIDENT than their male colleagues, what does that say...
