lots give speeches. The Bernie stuff was shady (but didn't cause him to lose the primary---being bad at the balancing

and failing to convince POC that he was trustworthy is what did him in) but the Bernie stuff reinforced not trustworthy

in people's minds. I do agree that her coalition was silly but I get where they were coming from.

I'm from an upper middle class suburb in Dallas, and I NEVER see opposition to a Republican like I saw against Trump.

And indeed, those Bush/McCain/Romney voters also live in places with growing minority populations (TX/GA)

and some key suburban areas in swing states, like suburbs of Philadelphia, suburbs of Columbus, etc.

But I agree that it was ultimately a tactical error. They shifted towards her but she lost more important base voters.
