I think the reason I get so pissed at this WWC fetish is because I know, instinctively, in my bones, how easy it is for white folks...

at which point our two steps forward 1.5 steps back will instantly become half a step forward ten steps back.

And that's not 100% true because we are a huge part of the Dems' coalition (not just black ppl but POC in general, feminists, queer ppl etc)

but we fiercely defend our culture power because to be honest that's probably the biggest power we have, ESPECIALLY for black folks.
