Casually invalidating POC experiences is just as stupid an electoral strategy as invalidating WWC experiences, and is considerably more evil

and while I'm at it, that was a good example. Me saying "being real Christian" totally embodies my experience as a black Southern Christian.

and totally ignores/invalidates the experience of ppl who aren't Christians but follow the principle my tradition calls turn the other cheek

so if somebody came back like "yeah, because being a Christian is real necessary to being a good person" [insert meme of evil Christians]

I couldn't be pissed at the way they kinda glossed over my experience of good Christians because I glossed over them first.
