So it was a mistake on the follow-through, as R's retook, but then, 2014 and 2016 were strong years for R's nationwide and in Wisconsin.

If 2018 nat'l Dems have even as much success as 2010 Wisconsin Dems (e.g., losses at 2-3 in the Senate, bringing House within 5-10 seats).

much easier to sustain enthusiasm. Also Walker is probably a better politician than Trump, in terms of recapturing support.

In Walker's position, Trump would have acted MAD erratic and then overreached to stay in power, which would be likely to backfire.
