At my very respectable Southern Baptist high school, I was taught there is no culture without cult.

I was indoctrinated with the notion that a culture that fails to cohere around a singular way of being is no culture at all, and will fail.

not all of that was explicitly stated, of course, but that is the same seed from which Bannon's white nationalism grows.

The point is: any ideology that does not recognize that the ONLY solution for America is to embark upon the uncharted and thrilling work...

of building a society with no dominant culture is an ideology that will ultimately collapse into ethnic and/or cultural nationalism.

Bannon will spend the next 4 years trying to keep non-Europeans out by any means necessary, up to and including the failure of democracy.
