I was indoctrinated with the notion that a culture that fails to cohere around a singular way of being is no culture at all, and will fail.

The point is: any ideology that does not recognize that the ONLY solution for America is to embark upon the uncharted and thrilling work...

of building a society with no dominant culture is an ideology that will ultimately collapse into ethnic and/or cultural nationalism.
