I don't know about anybody else, but when I talk about Trump voters who accept bigotry but don't prefer it, I am talking about the margin.

those who are in it for the white nationalism are not voters who are winnable by any Democratic party I can be a part of.
we just need the okay-with-bigotry team to swing Dem in 2020 enough to make up 2% margin in FL, MI, WI, PA.

it's pragmatics. Do a want to be in a coalition with okay-with-bigotry? No. Is that my best shot at blunting fascism? Yes.
