You conveniently conflate @local property owners with an individual that killed another individual. Do the store owners share his guilt? Why should they pay for someone else’s crimes? The looters should get what they deserve for infringing on innocent third party property

Yes, they do share because as local property owners, tax payers, and voters they are responsible for the actions of their police department. You can say it's an individual but it's a government official.

This despicable principle you believe in makes you an abhorrent collectivist. Never again claim that you are a libertarian. Let’s see if you won’t cry when you’re punished for the sins of people in your neighborhood.

Again it's not random people in my neighborhood, it's the local government. If I voted for @chesaboudin I share responsibility for his policies, good and bad.

Do you know if the store owners voted for that cop to kill? Think about what you’re saying. “Let’s punish everyone for the sins of their friends, relatives, neighbors, and others that oook like them.”

That's not what I'm saying and I'll politely decide to disengage from further conversation here after this: If you'll note what I'm saying is that for black people the system has failed and deprived them life liberty property. There is no government, no accountability.

In the absence of that they're looking at who the parties are who have benefitted and done well by these rules, directly culpable or not.

I agree with libertarianism and non violence, but what you're seeing is a response to violence rather than an initial instigation

What you think the parties are really doesn't fucking matter. On the ground, people have decided based on their experience who is responsible and this is an attempt at holding them accountable.

Sure. Do what you want. Just accept the consequences of perpetrating violence.

Courts rule though the will of the people. That's how the derive their legitimacy... If the legitimacy of the judicial system fails, people do have a fundamental right to reclaim it.
