thrilled! By that point, I assume I'd have ample training to be in such a situation. No room for nerves, only protocol, and process!

Oh yes, there's a lot of preparation behind this. Astronauts spend thousands of hours planning and training in countless simulations that prepare them for just about anything on a space mission. Still, they never really know what to expect until they get there!

I think my brain would not be able to comprehend the endless darkness I'd be surrounded by. Would probably have an existential crisis.
