I think it's possible to commit to free software and be a barrier to the NSA backdooring the world and contain Microsoft dominance without defending pedophilia and being a creep in general. I don't think doing the former grants you latitude for the latter.
You are really confused. The whole cancel crowd is clueless. You are equating "expressing ideas that disturb you" is not the same as "inciting to commit crime" which is not "committing crime". Can you fathom that expressing ideas or arguing is different from committing a crime?

What's the next step? Hanging him for thoughtcrime?

What
@sarahmei is doing is akin to what@RTErdogan is doing in Turkey. His juges recently gave a 9 year jail term to a political leader for "insulting tweets" sent 6 years ago. The cancel crowd is at the same level as dictators.https://twitter.com/ilginkarl/status/1169958204547194880 …

Sorry, you're saying we can't call him pro-pedophilia for saying pro-pedophilia things?

Also, when I say "he had a list of crimes" I mean he said something like "bestiality, necrophilia, incest, pedophilia" -- which, in most countries are crimes. If he wrote "burglary, rape, murder" I might call that a "list of crimes" too, even though he wasn't committing them.
