8. Look to individual blockchains for job listings Outside of the usual job listing sites, be sure to check out the websites of individual blockchains. Many showcase openings from applications built on their respective blockchains.

7. DAOs may vote on big decisions for company The decentralized finance hub SushiSwap has a DAO that voted 🗳️ from a group of 5 candidates on who should be their next “Head Chef”. ...aka their new CEO.

6. The owners of your company may be a "DAO" Technically speaking, many decentralized applications are run by a “DAO” or decentralized autonomous organization… Which is a crypto-speak way of saying that it’s a community-run application. 🫂

5. Same jobs generally apply Crypto companies still need HR teams, accountants, engineers, support teams, data scientists, etc. You will find some newer job titles though, like "Chief Metaverse Officer". We're still not sure if the title matches the description on that one. 😅

4. Many work anonymously in crypto It’s true. You may know some of your future co-workers by their usernames/profile pics only. 🫥 If you like face-to-face interactions, make sure your crypto dream company does things that way.

3. Young industry = chance to make a bigger impact. While there are ups & downs, there’s a lot of room for you to make a big impact. Why? It’s so small. Fun fact: Amazon lost $1 trillion ( with a “t”) in 2022. 😳 That’s around the total market capitalization of crypto.

2. Crypto has some negative, “Wild West” tendencies Let’s face it. There are scammers, poorly run “ponizis”, & hackers. Despite those headlines, the everyday crypto workforce has to endure the highs & lows of being a young industry. Be ready to answer questions about work. 👍

1. Crypto paychecks are common No big surprise here, but your paycheck may be partially (or fully) paid in a company’s token, Bitcoin, etc. Why does that matter? Many cryptocurrencies are volatile. 🎢 Your Bitcoin paycheck to double in value a week later…or be worth half. 😅

This is how DALL-E works. The students represent what’s called a “neural network”. 🌐 It’s a system that learns a bunch of different data points and is given some parameters. It then does its best to create something new based on those parameters.

Soon, they create a new image that matches the prompt. “Excellent,” the teacher says, “how about ‘an eagle 🦅 with a water bottle painted like Picasso’?” The student who knew about the eagle found the other students who could identify the other words in the prompt.

The teacher 🧑‍🏫 tells them, “this is the real test." "Can you combine what you’ve learned individually to correctly interpret the prompt and create a new image?” So the 5 students that identified a word from the teacher’s phrase...then started working.

The class has to create a new image based on a prompt. “An eagle riding a roller coaster, pixel art”. At first, the students are stumped. 😵‍💫 Then, a few of them raise their hands.
