There's a drama thing and YouTube can be the punching bag. You hush with your logic and understanding of the realities of a complex system!

I find it annoying that we probably explained exactly what is going on - because we actually *know* - and this is what we get.

It's so hard to rebuild trust with folks when they misuse your words any time you try to be more open :/

So of course you get the most negative possible interpretation. The evidence is very mixed, still mostly negative.

"the classifier is bad" is a different and unrelated failure mode. Trying together everything YouTube sucks is silly.

Unrelated proximal cause. All tied together by access to revenue given to right straight white cis men (Kimmel) and denied to others.

The proximal cause isn't the root cause. The root cause, from the outside, looks like disinterest in justice. Easy $$ wins.

They have done a pretty poor job with this bit but from what I hear is every time people query a block, the bot learns what is acceptable
