In terms of being a "review" I don't think it really accomplishes that, it's more like: "here's some thoughts about the novel in retrospect, and some thoughts sprung from the novel... also I liked it :P"

I wrote a review of a book I read recently. This departs quite a bit from the programming stuff, but I enjoyed the book enough, and thought enough about it to crank out a review today.

But yeah, today it really sunk in that it doesn't actually matter what I put on the damn signature field, it just matters that I agree to it in some way. I could put my twitter avatar, for all it matters.

In an ideal world we'd be signing stuff with cryto keys right?

Of course, signatures are really not certifying anything, they're basically as good as me saying a text message like "ok, yeah I agree", and then using that as proof of contract

Like, if I sent an email with my signature on a specific document, and then you change it, I can easily argue that I didn't approve the revision, since you never sent it to me

I was thinking of creating a tool to imprint a SHA2 hash in the watermark too, but that's a bit extra. The thing is that as long as you keep an email trail there's not much to complain about.

Why didn't I create an SVG of my signature earlier lol

So, having your "microservices" in your "monorepo" seems like a bit of a contradiction?

I really dislike chatbots. I find them to be a dumb fad.

    What's the point of even giving a salary range if it's £35K - 80K???

There's no such thing as being "realistic". You can be analytic, i.e. making estimates based on data you have right now. To be truly realistic you'd have to know the future with absolute certainty. You can make good estimates; you can't be realistic like you can be optimistic

In my view, advances in medical science feel useless as long as people can't afford medical care in the first place. The easiest way to improve public health is not cutting edge medical research, but simple measures for affordable care.

I have very little sympathy for companies whose main claim to value is sitting on software patents

Fully committed to using Next.js + tailwind at this point. Such a great experience for the developer and the end user.
