Assume that America is about 15% English. Assume Canada, Australia, and New Zealand are 40%. That amounts to about 75 million diaspora English as against 45 million English English. The two million English of 1450 have more descendants than the ~20 million French of the same year

I believe that strictly speaking the English multiplied much faster than the French and Spanish due to the drastic modern reduction in mortality first occurring among English and their diaspora. Places like Spain had high, pre-modern mortality into 20th century.

The Spanish were persistently unable to generate excess population. In territories like NM or California, populations were amazingly small at the time of American conquest, after 100s of years of occupation. Because it was essentially a medieval society demographically.
