The shooting at Columbine provoked a kind of moral panic, a pearl clutching reaction against video games and goth weirdos that now seems ridiculous. The moral panic was though, I think, justified. Columbine represented something profound: The Dawn of the Millenials.

Also Adam Lanza was on meds that had homicidial ideations. Look at the 80s. When did we start prescribing these meds for kids off label with suicidal and homicidal ideations. Look at the psychotropics that Parkland shooter was on. Look at most school shootings and find this.
