Men often look at mountains and think of God: the connection being perfect perspective of the outside world. It changes the way you think: you feel curious about faraway places and times long ago.

Watching movies on the big screen does something similar: it lends itself to great historical epics vast in time and space: Lawrence of Arabia being probably the best example.
