Kevin Love isn’t the best white guy in the NBA. Part of being handsome is youth and being in shape, so professional athletes, whether the best or the journeyman, are going to be in the top decile on average. Hockey players & boxers less so because of the beating their faces take.
Sorry, I forgot I was dealing with a lawyer: the best white_American_ in the NBA since Bird and also the best looking. The next best white American, Gordon Hayward, is also extraordinarily good looking. Does this really not seem a little odd to you?

Reversing causality perhaps? It’s hard to be a white American in basketball, and being good looking might mean getting more referee calls and tolerance from teammates. Patrick Ewing was a #1 draft pick; Reggie Miller was a Hall of Famer. But also Hayward isn’t that good looking?
