        One of the stranger finding reflected by the map is a pocket of light haired Irish in the midland counties of Longford/Westmeath, counties which may be far enough east to have been settled by Norwegian Vikings but far enough west to have avoided mixture with the English.pic.twitter.com/lEFrlCVy34

        I've seen similar studies from the time for the UK, France, Italy, etc... The early 20th century was the golden age for this science.
