Jaemison's East Asian ancestry was surprising to her; the most likely route is she's part Chinese Jamaican by way of Georgia. Some racial differences are so huge that having just a little bit of "exotic" ancestry can massively increase a person's chance of being extraordinary.
The most important part is simply that, all that really does not matter. The fact is - all humans - regardless of all those labels can do the same job meritoriously. That is the part I want to celebrate.
