"Boomer" and "Millenial" are labels that are being stretched well past their strict definitions to many people's annoyance. But I think the basic trend is a good thing, that people are noticing that the fundamental divide is between all people born before/after ~1980.
Anyways, I myself am going to continue to use Millennial as shorthand for all the socially and mechanically incompetent people born in the last 40 years or so. To use "Boomer" as a catchall terms feels wrong, so there needs to be some kind of replacement: "human beings", say.
As a binary divide, I like boomer/zoomer 1. Because it's catchier 2. Because zoomers are so dysfunctional, they deserve the opposing pole. It is weird to call older the ones zoomers but human grade millennials are "30 yr old boomers" so you're right about boomer = human.pic.twitter.com/4NW5N90giW
You may be joking of course. Otherwise the well of pessimism in this tweet seems wildly out of proportion with reality. Do you have any concise writings you could point to, so someone who doesn't see that scale of decay can update?
