why are australian women hot but british women not?

I think the overarching answer is that Australians, like US Southerners, are disproportionately Irish/Scottish with other exotic elements thrown in. The best looking Australian celebrity is probably Margot Robbie and she inherited her looks from German mother (nee Kessler).

It's the English specifically that are sort of ugly, with Irishmen if anything making up a disproportionate share of Hollywood's macho hunks (Mel Gibson, Alec Baldwin, Pierce Brosnan, Peter O'Toole)

yeah i haven’t given thought to the men but irish and scottish women don’t carry the same baggage. did the world wars cause this or is it a longer term thing?
