      Oh come on now, you're the second guy this week to ask me why the English are so ugly! What did they ever to anyone...oh yeah. As for the US, it's actually surprisingly rare to find an American of entirely English descent, even Southerners are quite Celtic, Mormons Scandinavian.

      Ok, fair points. New qn: Why are the Irish so hairy? The English and other NW Europeans are baby smooth, struggling even to grow a moustache; but the Irish are hirsute like palefaced Spaniards. What gives?
