It’s an interesting experience to Google Translate YouTube comments. Hyper-irony and vicious insincerity seem to be a mostly English speaking thing, probably of US origin.

I don’t know if it’s a function of the Translator, but Spanish commenters seem to offer the most beautifully exuberant praise for whatever they like.
