I've thinking specifically of The Rock, 12 Monkeys, The Sum of All Fears. The Rock specifically became important when a bogus Iraqi informant tried to sell British intel on an Iraqi VX gas program based on the imagery of seen in the movie. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rock_(film)#Iraqi_chemical_weapons_program …pic.twitter.com/9RMpW7H4oJ

The little remembered Deterrence featured as a plotline a standoff between the US and a future nuclear armed Iraq led by Uday Hussein. Somehow no one ever gives Hollywood a hard time about thishttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deterrence_(film) …
