Good question, Why are women of predominately British ancestry so much more attractive in Australia and the States than in the Isles themselves?

It's mostly the English who are unattractive. Scots/Irish women are just fine (their men can be strikingly handsome). Australians are very Celtic as are American Southerners and it's generally only in the South you see purebred colonials.

Mormons tend to be pure of English extraction and they are generally well put together. There's also a class (possibly ethnic) component posh English girls can look fairly good but chavs are just hopeless.

The Mormons are something else: Mormons insist you can tell a guy is Mormon and I remember reading a study which showed something similar, that Mormons faces are different in that they have a kind of healthy glow they which may be related to their diet.
