The exact form of the laugh varies from person to person and probably culture to culture but the common thing is the fast rate at which they draw breaths. Here: the deep voiced Russian variety that Hollwood loves in its villains:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1IIov6kM6ms&t=1m36s …

I can do this as an impressison, but it's so unnatural to me that it's interesting that Russians slip into it so effortlessly

There are two classes of people that are familiar with terms like brachycephaly: Stormfront super-racists and intelligent dog owners, who have likely heard of the brachycephalic syndrome suffered by breeds like bulldogs and pitbullshttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brachycephalic_airway_obstructive_syndrome …

Yes: I am arguing that in this one way Slavs actually are like human bulldogs, that the compression of their skulls also means compression of the airway and the result is that they take more breaths, they pant.

If that were true , you would expect to see something similar in Americans of East European descent and I think you do: here for example is the 100% Polish Rob Gronkowski:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ZRcSFU6MgY …

Gronkowski is an interesting example of a general trend: in sports where US Blacks outperform whites (boxing, basketball, US football, bodyybuilding) East Europeans outperform Westerners. Where Blacks show small or no advantage (soccer, WSM) the same, opposite pattern is seen

Slavs resemble brachycephalic dogs in muscularity, especially noticeable in their faces, and in the fact that they tend to break down over longer distances, where in Europe Norwegians, Iberians, and Britons dominate them:https://twitter.com/crimkadid/status/1281385878460538881 …
