The major thing American white guys need now is not a resurgence in religion, although my solution is sort of similar. What they need is the VFW, the Beer Hall, the Sons of _____. Everything that's good and great about religion but without the gay stuff.

The VFW is the best approximation of what I want, because honoring the sacrifice of veterans and the dead gives it a serious, religious cast while also giving us all an excuse to get drunk and have fun.

And while I'm on the subject, the best way to rebrand patriotism is to orient on the Latin origin: "patria", the land of the forefathers. The right should declare itself: we are the men who honor our fathers and grandfathers, the men who made us and protected us.

I hear this advice a lot, offered by and at intelligent people: "why can't we have it all?" Because society is big and full of dumb people. You think I'm offering as a societal set point, I'll give you another example.

It pisses me off to see things like Drag Queen Story Hour. This sort of thing didn't exist in the recent past, but on the other hand gays used to beat up a lot for no reason too. "Well, why can't we stand up to degeneracy AND be nice?". Because society is big and people are dumb.
