Iceland is almost in the Arctic Circle and yet their schizophrenia prevalence is actually lower than the European average because they eat even more fish than the Japanese.

Finns have consistently the highest schizophrenia rates of any European people because they live so far north and yet, unlike the Scandinavians, they stupidly don't eat fish.

Everybody living that far north in cities goes nuts except Scandinavians. Helsinki is further north than Oslo and yet whatever study you look at, fish is only eaten at 1/3rd to 1/2 the rate in Finns vs Norsk

Swedes do have a relatively high schizophrenia rate and I suspect they are being pulled in a Finnish direction in these qualities. Going back to Weyl people have noticed a low level of academic achievement in Norwegians compared to other Scandos.

Schizophrenia has a high heritability but in the Amish it essentially doesn’t exist. Not a paradox: heritability varies according to group environment. IQ is highly heritable in Euros (0.8 or so) and extremely low in the Sudan ( more like 0.2). Same thing applies to height.
