In the city that has a job for me? And maybe housing I can afford? All things being equal, the second one probably looks nicer for a holiday.

The right one ist from Gdansk Nowe Miasto. It got devastated in WWI and reconstructed. Most buildings ive seen were underused with mostly holiday appartments on the upper floor. The whole city core got soled to investors. Locals dont go there.

Problem is, I don’t think there’s a choice for a lot of people.

But there’s a choice of government, local authorities and developers. And that choice should be influenced by the towns and city-scapes in which people like to live, as well as beauty.

Stop making hugely complex issues one line votes. They are are not comparable and are the result of hugely different financial and political circumstance. Measures of quality, and architecture, run far deeper than a mug shot.

@bristol247 as Bristol seems to have more Towers on the horizon ,think we should ask Bristolians what they want. Mid rise is much more in keeping with the city. We should not be repeating the mistakes made in the 60s. -
I thought Bristolians had been asked. And they don't like towers.
