No transit, roads included, can be self funded and affordable. Chicago's transit systems are only 50% funded. Should we ask for drivers to fully fund roads w/o 50% assistance from the GOV? Drivers would pay for roads through tolls since gas tax & registration fees aren't enough.

Chicago RTA serves 6 counties and 3 states. Makes Metro Detroit look dinky. Lack of mass transit is what is holding back our counties from growing further out and faster than they are. Relying on cars is making our commute times too high and our roads too crowded.
