Had a little fun last week w/ this Q & subsequent answers. HOWEVER, the discussion prompted an actual Q for me that sits at the intersection of covenant theology & gender. Would love feedback (1)https://twitter.com/sometimesalight/status/1050772746836332545 …

How does covenant theology account for circumcision as an inherently gendered sign of the covenant transitioning into baptism which is not gendered?

Baptism doesn't *only* correspond to circumcision, but to other uses of water (baptisms, washings, cloud, flood, etc). I'm a former Presby, (cage free) so my opinion may not count.pic.twitter.com/JpU9dubGPj
