@cparnot Glad to hear that it’s now shipping: http://mjtsai.com/blog/2013/07/08/filosync-1-0-beta/ …
Looks very interesting as an alternative to Dropbox, particularly as the developer of Arq is involved — http://www.filosync.com (cc @mjtsai)

@mjtsai Yes, heard about it at the time thanks to your post ;-) -
@cparnot Do you think you’ll use it? I like it, but it doesn’t solve a problem that I currently have. -
@mjtsai No, and same sentiment. The target audience seems to be small/medium-size businesses? Maybe they need to work on clearer use cases? - Show more

@cparnot Looks pretty expensive compared to this: http://cl.ly/3r2V2i3T1520 -
@waltonjones Definitely aimed at businesses, but BT only stores on devices, not S3. Other device-only alternative: http://www.filetransporter.com - View other replies

@waltonjones I fully agree you can save the $10/month with such a solution and own the whole stack. It then depends on how much you pay AWS. -
@cparnot I like the idea, but the problem is it doesn’t rid us of Dropbox because of all the awesome integrations DB has for iOS apps.
