Almost certainly the best thing I was ever told about owls was when I met an owl handler and he told me that the wild owls in the sanctuary where he worked worried about the tame show owls there and sometimes stopped by to leave them shrews and mice as presents.

... This book (from 2015) didn't sell as well as its predecessor. I'm not sure why, as it's a little better. Feels like it was a little step towards the less inhibited writing I've done in my five books for . This adorable prat is probably the true star of it.

Yes, I’m sorry. I referred to those books as your cats and life books but if you live with cats they’re going to make themselves part of what you do, be it writing or putting out the damn garbage; it’s how they operate.
