There has been a lot of work and discussion behind the scenes at the Morning Star this week. We have a lot of work to do in regaining the trust of the trans community and it’s allies, and I’m relieved to see that being recognised.

Thank you. This work is sorely needed. Our is so compromised. And all the while people don't understand this, we are severely handicapped in combating the existential threats we face. A dangerous, nihilistic & utterly cynical ethos prevails.

I just don't understand why people would vote for a guy who is pretty much another Ed Miliband but objectively more dull and much less endearing

Displaced people freely crossing borders should be more than a bargaining chip by states playing political power games. It must become an intentionally and universally applied right, always.

Before getting elected, I didn't realise how much billionaires and big business lobby MPs. They don't do it because they're generous. They do it because they want a government that works for them, not for you.

Dear journalists not tweeting a single word about 's show trial now - sorry, but we did notice when you were tweeting endlessly about him in the past, smearing and mocking him year after year. We did notice.

I feel sick to the stomach to know the paper made trans people feel this way and that it contributed to the general oppression they feel on a daily basis. It is good to see articles like this one holding the paper to account. I hope there will be more

This is how the prison in The Hague looked like for the butchers from Yugoslavia. They could read books, use computers, watch movies, cook, even play table footbal. Compared to prison where is in solitary confinement, it was Hilton! Does it make you angry?

Err, Jeremy Corbyn was already Britain's Bernie Sanders until our well fed media rode him out of town on a rail. However, the position to be Britain's is still open.

We have a global epidemic and we just lost 21% of Australian forests to fire, 80% of insects, Amazon is on the edge, Arctic sea ice likely to go in a decade or so (which will advance warming by 25 years). Coronavirus is completely trivial, a speck, compared to climate collapse.
