結論としては イベルメクチンを補助的に投与することで，成人COVID-19患者の死亡率，低酸素飽和度の時間，入院期間が減少した。その他の臨床パラメータの改善から，安全性に余裕のあるイベルメクチンがCOVID-19に対して高い治療効果を発揮したことが示された。
