Just finished season 2 of Fargo. What's with the flying saucer?
@ebeinke I think they represent the hand of the creator in a constructed narrative. Each appearance doubles as a too-convenient plot device.

@ebeinke Rye getting hit by peggy's car because he's distracted by the UFO sets the plot in motion. Bear gets killed because he sees it, etc

@ebeinke that's definitely the explicit reading that the creators want to put out there, that makes a lot of narrative sense.
