What sort of lackadaisical inefficient team has Igarashi assembled that $125k barely covers a new weapon/costume/etc vs an entire new game.

@covernode and IMO a bunch of new games would be a much better use of that money than eg "a new costume" or "a new weapon"
@raiganburns maybe, but Iga wants to make a new high fidelity metroidvania game and the kickstarter proved there's the demand for it.

@covernode how many devs were on SotN? (IIRC 8-12) IMO "HD" doesn't require a bigger team, since tech and tools have improved since the 90s. -

@raiganburns It's a weird point, you're just basically saying different types of games cost a varying amount of money to make. -
@covernode I'm saying when it costs you a full person-year to add a new weapon or costume to your game, you are massively inefficient...
