In retrospect I think the NK villian made the game more unique and memorable
China was actually the original enemy in Homefront but the suits at THQ made us change it to North Korea because they didn't want to hurt sales in China. That would have been true if we had made the choice for the right reason and embraced it with a tone and theme that made sense.

I always felt bad for the people who had to work on the opening animation showing the rise of N. Korea. Required a suspension of disbelief that was an impossible lift for many people.
