Also: seeing people deal with soul and life-changing overwhelming situations that seem hopeless against horrors but figuring out how to keep going anyways is a very relateable story.

: it's disappointing that like 90% of the cast is white men (even if they're hot white men), with women getting few roles. And the only poc are on the "evil side."
My understanding is that they want to leave because Middle Earth is hard on them as immortals and going back to Valinor gives them respite for a while at least.
